Social Return on Investment - SROI
What does it do?
- Develops a system in your organisation to measure the value of your work
- Involves stakeholders in the development of your services
How do you do it?
- Using the social impact map to forecast and monitor your services/projects
- Embedding the methodology and using it to improve your services
Why do it?
- Gives Commissioners added value and your organisation added value in tendering
- Demonstrates the financial return for investors and grant funders
This workshop will introduce you to SROI. The morning will take you through the methodology. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to complete a social impact map on one of your services or projects, making the session practical and useful to you.
There is a follow up 2 hour one: one session for organisations attending the workshop.
This workshop is of use to organisations tendering for contracts including European Social Funds; Lottery and those selling services and products to the Private Sector.
